Role of The Reserve

The Role of a Reserve

A reserve is one of the team members and MUST turn up and be available for the whole of the match.

It is expected that the reserve will be dressed appropriately and ready to play should one of the team members have to leave the rink.

Before the start of the match the reserve should collect the tea money and hand it to the duty steward.

During the match, particularly in hot weather, the reserve should ensure that all water jugs are full.

At some point during the game the reserve should offer to help the duty steward set up tables for tea and biscuits.
