Mens County Pairs: Brian Poole & Andy Poole beat Gary Ayley & Robert Paxton of Crediton in their first-round match on Monday 14th June at Exonia, 17 shots to 16.

Ladies Over 55 Pairs: Unfortunately, Frances Clement & Annie Robinson lost to Bendell & Sanford of Topsham by 12 shots to 23 in their first-round match.

Mens National Two Fours: MBBC men had an incredibly tight match against Rock Park, at home, on the evening of Friday 18th June. It all went down to the last bowl of the match and unfortunately, MBBC lost by one shot overall.

Burmer Stars Mixed Triples: Marcia Mills, Gillian Gunn & Brian Poole played a Crediton trio in Round 2 of the mixed triples, coming out victorious by 17 shots to 11.

Ladies Over 70s Pairs: Marcia Mills & Annie Robinson lost to the Topsham pairing of Bendell and Sanford in their first match played on 21st June by 9 shots to 23.

Ladies Unbadged Singles: Steph Warren was our sole representative, playing at Crediton on the 23rd June. Steph won her first-round match against V Kirkland of Okehampton but lost to A Lamey of North Tawton in Round 2.

Mens County Senior Fours: Richard Tapp, Henry Cruwys, Brian Poole & Paul Buttle have been drawn against a four from Topsham in their first match being played on Saturday 26th June.

Mens County Fours: Richard Tapp, Henry Cruwys, Brian Poole & Andy Poole have been drawn against a four from Crediton in their first match being played on Sunday 27th June.

Mens County Pairs: Brian Poole & Andy Poole play Sheppard & Harry of Exonia on the 28th June.

Burmer Stars Mixed Triples: Marcia Mills, Gillian Gunn & Brian Poole play a North Tawton triple in Round 3. Date to be arranged.

Ladies unbadged pairs: Lynda Wright & Steph Warren are drawn against the Topsham pair of Powell & Northey on the 6th July.

Ladies 2 wood triples: We have two triples entered; Steph Warren v J Pond of Topsham and Mo Sparrow v M Carpenter of Crediton. The Section 4 first and second round matches are being played on the 26th July at MBBC.

Ladies benevolent triples: We have one triple entered lead by Steph Warren. The Section 4 competition is being played on the 2nd and 5th August at MBBC.
