North Baddesley Parish Council


Friends of North Baddesley Library need your help to raise funds to keep your Library open by supporting our events or volunteering to help.  The Community Library would be grateful for donations or the proceeds from fund-raising events you may wish to hold in their support.  Please contact Chris Hill on 02381 228063.

Committee Members Wanted

Would you like to get involved in organising the running of the library? FONBL are looking for a new committee member.  We meet one evening per month.  Please contact Chris Hill on 02381 228063 or chris_vhill@yahoo.co.uk. 

Our Quiz Nights and book stalls have been a great success and have raised several hundreds of pounds.

Other Activities

Village Dog Walks - 1st Sunday of every month - meet 10am outside the library, £1 per dog - different walk each month - free tea/coffee at the Ox pub

Family Craft Sessions - on Wednesdays in school holidays - 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd August - drop in between 9.30 and 11.30am        £1 per child or £2 per family, children must  be accompanied by an adult.

Join our volunteers who keep our library open - we are always looking for new volunteers.  We have shifts Monday to Saturday in 2 hour slots, we always work in two's so you have support and somebody to help you get started.  Pop into the library during opening times to find out more.

And of course you can always visit your library - borrow a book or two - use the computers and free Wifi - photocopy and print for 10p per sheet - free scanning of documents.  Use your Hampshire Library card - not got one?  Pop in and join - borrow books same day - no fees

Thursday 3pm - 5pm  Friday 9am - 1pm,  Saturday 9.30 - 12 noon
