The Committee

The committee would like to welcome you to our website. We are a small but friendly club. We have an excellent green and a fine clubhouse.

 We were officially formed in 1961, so in 2011 we celebrated our 50th Anniversary with a week of matches against local teams followed by refreshments. In 2021 we celebrated our 60th Anniversary and bounced back from the impact of Covid 19 by making significant improvements to the club.

 Like most clubs, we are always seeking new members and give a warm welcome to them. We can provide coaching and the loan of bowls equipment at the start.

 We provide social bowling as well as 3 leagues to play in. New members pay only £30 subscription. They can have a key to the green and clubhouse and can practise or have a "roll up" at any suitable time.

 If you are new to the area, recently retired or just wanting some gentle exercise then come along on a Friday evening and have a go. Otherwise, contact our Secretary, Roy Mountford, on 01507358852.
