Community Resilience

The Parish Council is in the process of finalising a Community Flood Plan. We have a number of parishioners who have volunteered to act as flood wardens who will help to co-ordinate a response to a flood event and who can arrange access to flood mitigation equipment, sandbags, pumps etc.

We also provide information about what help is available in the event of you experiencing a flood event and how you can help to minimise the impact of such an event and how to prepare for if the worst happens.

We hope shortly to arrange for our flood wardens to be trained to allow them to close roads if necessary to ensure the safety of residents and others and to protect property.
