Oakham Bowls Club Update W.E. 9.10.22
With the green now silent and the last of the seasons matches played attention turned to the Presentation Lunch on Sunday attended by more than fifty members of the Club.
After a very enjoyable lunch prepared by members of the Club the presentations were awarded.
The winners and Runners up of the 2022 Club Competitions were:

Congratulations were given to the Oakham D Team who have won promotion to Division 2 in the Stamford League as runners up of Division 3
President Janet Horwood thanked all those who had entered for the competitions and hoped that next year more club members would enter. Janet wished everyone an enjoyable Autumn and Winter with a reminder the Short Mat Bowling in the Club House starts on Wednesday 12th October at 7.00 pm and that more social events will be held during the close season.
Concluding the afternoon Vice President Graham Coles presented President Janet Horwood with a bouquet of flowers thanking her for her work in organising the Club competitions and the Presentation Lunch.
