Day 4 of the Tour saw us playing matches against Honiton where we won and against Ottery St Mary where we drew.  At both venues we were pleased to be joined by Phil and Sally Spreadbury who also came to see us later in the evening at our Farewell Dinner where President Jim was presented by "Tour Virgin" John Yarrell with a gift from the members thanking him and Pat for all their hard work in arranging such a successful Tour.  Following the Red Arrows and the Fireworks Jim had one last surprise for us - Entertainment from our coach driver Joseph who has been voice trained at the Royal Academy and who delighted us all with his wide repetoire of songs from the musicals.

Day 5 and our last day saw us taking a sad farewell from the Bedford and travelling to games at Taunton Vivary and Ilminster.  At both venues the club provided us with excellent lunches and these seemed to weigh heavily on the team at Ilminster, which won on only one rink. We did, however record a good victory at Taunton.  After drinks with our opponents it was back on the coach for the journey home.  En route we learnt that Margaret Lee had won the Tour Trophy for being the most successful player on tour.  We also discovered that Camila Kingshott had committed the most misdemeanours so winning the Black Mark trophy with John Ryan receiving the Wooden Spoon.  As usual the award of Black Mark certificates was a great fund raiser and Margaret was pleased to announce that around £350 will go to St Michael's Hospice.
