DISAPPOINTING NIGHT FOR SEAN

Travelling tonight to Farnborough for his first Northern Area Final of the County Singles, Sean Lasssman knew he faced a difficult task against Alton Social's Richie Burgin. So it proved. Richie adapted quickly to the green and consistently found the better length. This coupled with more success with his running bowls meant Sean was always playing catch up and try as he did Sean was unable to prevent Richie running out a comfortable winner.
