ENJOYABLE QUIZ NIGHT

Saturday Evening saw members turning up at Malshanger for our Quiz Night. With it being half term, Halloween weekend and with other events on in the village, numbers were a little down on what was expected but nonetheless six tables were in play. The format was similar to a spoon drive and every two rounds players had to draw for the table on which they would play the next two rounds. Quiz Master Ric managed to find some fiendish questions - a whole round on Disney and who knew there was an airport in Carlisle! After 10 rounds we learnt that the Women's Prize had been won by Sue Newson and the Men's by Jonathan Rouse. All present seemed to have had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and the Club's thanks go to Ric for his organisation and to the three gentlemen who manned the bar.
