Oakley might have taken a hit last night, but spirits were lifted with the news that Malcolm Grime and Bob Goodyear had made it to the quarter-finals of the County Men's Golden Pairs. In their first match, they knocked out the 2025 champions, and in their latest game this week, they overcame the Petersfield duo of Richard Purchase and Malcolm Hutchinson by 17 shots to 12. They now look forward to the quarter final to be played on 29 July against David Cooper and John Kellow of Alton Social. Good Luck to our Golden Guys.
