NEW BOWLER MAKES CLUB FINAL

This morning at Malshanger 32 players, including Nicole fresh from her exploits at Leamington,took part in the Club Drawn Fours event. Split into 2 leagues of 4, each team played 3 games of 8 ends before the league winners met in the Final.

This pitched the rink of Marion Bringes, Wendy Lowin (in her first season and playing in her first competition), John Ryan and Janie Vickers against that of Pat Fitzgerald, Ian Rickman, Laura Butler and Bob Goodyear and it was the latter rink that won 12-6. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all who participated, especially Trevor who cut the green earlier, Peter who ran the event and those who helped put out the gear etc. A good day was had by all.
