NICOLE QUALIFIES IN THIRD EVENT

Congratulations from all at Oakley to Nicole Rogers who, having qualified for the National Championships at Leamington, in both the Junior Singles and Junior Pairs has today also reached the Finals in the National Champion of Champions. In the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Final of the event, Nicole, with home advantage, took on Carol Bray from Totland Bay and, with her opponent struggling to find line and length, recorded a comfortable 21-4 win. Nicole will now represent Hampshire at Leamington in the last 16 of this national event playing on the 9th August the winner of the Devon and Cornwall Group. However, before then and over this coming weekend, Nicole is off to Londonderry to represent England in the British Isles International Championship. We wish her good luck.
