With heavy snow in February having led to the cancellation of the original event, last night saw just over 60 members and guests descend on the Test Valley Golf Club near Overton for the Club's 41st Presentation Dinner and Dance. Our 24th successive event at Test Valley, our principal guests for the evening were Lesley Taylor, the Women's President of Bowls Hampshire, her husband Keith, the County Men's President and our "Landlord and Club member" Jamie Colman. We were also delighted to have with us both the President of Bowls England, Hazel Marke and four Past County Presidents. Following an excellent meal, Club President Lesley Allard proposed the Toast to the Guests to which Lesley Taylor responded. The toast to the Club was by Keith Taylor with Vice President Martin Smith responding. The trophies were presented by Mr Jamie Colman. Following the presentations there was dancing to a local disco and the Grand Raffle before, around midnight, members departed for home having had a highly enjoyable evening.
