Overton Black Arrows
- Members: Open practice every Wednesday evening. A club coach is always on hand to assist with technique and tuning.
- Beginners: Courses are run throughout the year, usually on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, by qualified and approved coaches or experienced club archers. See our Club Calendar for dates of upcoming courses. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in joining a beginners course. All equipment is provided during the course. A beginners course will usually last 6 weeks, during which you will learn and become proficient in a variety of techniques and disciplines as well as gain a thorough understanding of archery safety and shooting etiquette.
A GNAS approved certificate will be issued to all those who have reached a suitable standard. This certificate is evidence that you have completed the course to the national standard required for membership of a GNAS affiliated archery club. FITA badges may also be achieved during and after the course.
We regret that children under 10 years cannot be accepted for club membership or beginners courses. Exceptions to this may be considered by the committee but only after approval by the senior coach.
