Overton Cricket |
The club as a whole has a good social scene and run regular social and fund raising events including a golf day, member evenings and curry nights. New members are always welcome and it’s a great way to integrate into the village. |

Overton United Football Club |
A progressive club for players of all abilities from age 16+. There are five teams, the Firsts and Reserves play at Bridge Street in the Hampshire league and the A and B teams play at Berrrydown in the Saturday Local Basingstoke league, while the Veterans play in the Sunday league |

Overton Golf Club |
Overton Golf Club is located at Town Meadow where a nine – hole course is available. Play commences each day from 7.00 am and must be completed by 6.00pm from Monday to Thursday. Both social and competitive golf is played with monthly medals being run throughout the year and friendly matches organised with other clubs. |

Overton Rugby |
With the aim of promoting the game of rugby to all ages and abilities this is a family club. The club currently has two adult sides. |

OVERTON DARBY AND JOAN CLUB |
A club for anyone over 60. An opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy a game of Bingo. There is a raffle at each meeting and a delicious tea. Guest speakers come and chat on a variety of subjects. The club meets in the Community Centre on the first and third Thursdays of the month (except in Jan/Feb/Aug when meetings are only on the third Thursday), at 2.45pm – 3.45pm. Entry only £2 a day! |

DRAMA |
The Overton Dramatic Society has in excess of 70 members and produces two shows each year in the spring and winter. These include pantomime, plays and musicals with all aspects of the productions being carried out by the society members. Rehearsals take place at the ORC on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with performances in St Mary’s Hall. |

FRIENDS OF OAKLEY AND OVERTON SURGERIES |
The Friends of Oakley and Overton Surgeries is a registered charity administering donated funds to relieve suffering by the purchase and maintenance of medical and other equipment, and the provision of services for the general good of patients of the Oakley and Overton Surgeries, Hampshire, not readily provided by the Health Authority or by other statutory funds. |

OVERTON BIODIVERSITY SOCIETY |
The aims of the Overton Biodiversity Society are to raise awareness of wildlife issues in the parish of Overton through a range of community based activities including wildlife talks, guided walks, wildlife surveys and maintaining “Little Meadow” as a community wildlife area. We have completed surveys of land use, hedgerows, veteran trees, water voles and dormice and have produced a Parish Biodiversity Action Plan. We have approximately 100 members and new members are always most welcome. We are a very informal, friendly group and enjoy learning from each other. OVERTON CHORAL SOCIETY |
Overton Choral Society (OCS) has both a static and roving programme. Each year Member takes part in the Winchester and County Music Festival, performing with other local Choral Societies in either Romsey Abbey or Winchester Cathedral. OCS is also part of the Basingstoke Festival of Choirs and participates in the bi-annual concert in the Anvil. A Christmas Concert is always held in St Mary’s Hall in December and we actively encourage Overton Primary School to participate. |

Overton Photographic Club |
A keen group interested in developing photographic ideas. Interested beginners welcome. The club meets at 7.30pm – 10.00pm on Fridays from September to May at the Bridge Street Pavilion. |

The University of the Third Age is a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment and promotes learning for pleasure. |
