Woodlands Allotments

Woodlands Allotments is owned by Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and managed by Overton Parish Council. The site is situated to the south west of the village centre and used to be part of a much larger allotment area (which has since become houses). There are over 50 allotments holders on varying sized plots.

The first year of the allotment tenancy is free and thereafter the cost of a small plot is £8.50 per year from 1st April 2015 and £9.50 from 1st April 2016.  The rent will then be reviewed by the parish council on an annual basis. Allotment rents are due at the annual allotment holder’s meeting which is usually held at 6.30pm on the fourth Tuesday of March in the Community Centre.

Anyone wishing to join the waiting list for an allotment must live in the parish of Overton; please contact the Clerk for further information or if you wish to be added to the list.
