Little Steps Montessori

Little Steps Montessori is a preschool located at The Ken Hogan Centre, Berrydown, in Overton.

Our goal is to provide a carefully planned, stimulating environment that will help the child develop an excellent foundation for creative learning, enhance self-esteem in a positive, friendly community and develop concentration and self discipline.

Overton Harriers & AC is a local running club with both senior and junior sections, offering training and coaching for mixed abilities

Based at the ORC in Bridge Street, Overton, the Seniors meet several times per week for training and many compete in Hampshire Road Race and Cross Country Leagues, and the Southern

The Junior Section is run independently and train twice a week during term time at Berrydown. They also compete in local leagues for indoor athletics and track and field.

Walking For Health

Free weekly walks starting at 10.00am every Monday at ORC Pavilion, Bridge Street.

Please arrive for 9.45am. Join us for a free walk and great social event. Refreshments available after the walk.

Overton Youth Football Club

Overton Youth Football Club has been running since 1982, although it was formerly known as Overton Boys Football Club. During 2000-2001 season the Club was awarded The FA Charter Standard. OYFC has grown to its current size and now offer Boys and Girls from Under 7-16 the opportunity to experience youth football at the highest standard. OYFC promotes continual development to all its members.

Cafe Teen

Cafe Teen is a new youth group starting in Overton. The aim is to help young people to not only be shown in a different light but to see one too.

Now located at the new Ken Hogan Sports Pavilion at Berrydown.

Town Meadow Golf Club

The Overton Golf Section has over 250 members and has a very active golfing calendar for golfers of all ages and abilities.

Every 2nd Sunday of the month we hold an organised event, where we meet at 9am in the Scout Hut for coffee & bacon rolls, followed by 18 holes of golf and prize giving after all for £3 entry.

Ladies also have their own meetings and the dates are emailed out prior to the event.

Comprises three sections who typically meet at Town Meadow: Beavers (6-8 year olds), Cubs (8-10 1/2) and Scouts (10 ½-14). Each section is run by volunteers aiming to help girls and boys achieve their full potential by providing fun through challenging activities, unique experiences and everyday adventure. We aim to develop skills such as teamwork, initiative, planning,communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment.

The next age group to follow scouts (age 14-18) – Explorers do many of the activities undertaken by scouts plus more. They are encouraged to lead themselves in deciding their programme and the direction of the Unit, with support and guidance from leaders

Brownies & Girl Guides

We are a friendly group of Guiders that teach various life skills. We also have a lot of fun with Craft, cooking and outdoor activities. We are uniformed units.  If you are interested in your Daughter joining please contact an age group leader. Meetings are at Town Meadow.

Overton Photographic Club

Meetings take place in Overton Recreation Centre, Bridge Street at 730pm on Friday evenings September to May. We offer a range of activities from guest speakers to workshops & product presentations. We manage a membership club but visitors are welcome to pay an admission fee of £2 at the door.

Run by a qualified physiotherapist & Pilates instructor. Core stability exercises to improve posture, strength & muscle control. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Wednesday lunchtimes at the Bridge Street Pavilion.
