DEAD FISH IN RIVER - APRIL 2024

A concerned resident living by the John of Gaunt in Horsebridge has sent the photos below: a photograph of a dead fish taken on Saturday 20th April and the other taken on the morning of Monday 22nd April. They also photographed the foamy scum in the river by the John of Gaunt. This is being reported to the Environment Agency hotline. Another person apparently saw numerous adult dead fish near the Mayfly on Friday 19th April.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in perished fish? Please report any such incidents to the Environment Agency.
