Quatt Malvern Parish is situated in Shropshire and includes the attractive village of Quatt, situated on the A442 road between the towns of Bridgnorth (Shropshire) and Kidderminster (Worcestershire).

Quatt village is distinctive by its black and white architecture. The village has St. Andrew’s Church, an award winning  village hall, https://quatt.info/index.html a farm shop/cafe https://www.quattfarmshop.com/ and a very active cricket club https://quattcc.play-cricket.com/ . The other main settlements are Wooton, Hampton Loade, and Mose.

There is a public house at Hampton Loade ( The River and Rail) which offers meals, drinks and is a lunch stop for canoe trips on the River Severn. https://riverrail.co.uk/

The Parish is home to Dudmaston House, a former stately home now owned and managed by the National Trust and there are walks and cycle tracks around the estate. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/dudmaston

Quatt Malvern Parish Council was formed in 2003. There are 5 parish councillors who meet 6 times a year, on the evening of the 4th Thursday in January, March, May, July, September and November. Meetings are held in Quatt Village Hall and normally begin at 7.30 pm.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the meetings and there is an opportunity for members of the public to speak at the commencement of each meeting.

In addition, there is a parish meeting held every year, normally preceding  one of the Parish Council Meetings. Every elector in the Parish is entitled to attend the parish Meeting and speak on any local matter or ask questions of the Parish Council.

Shropshire Council provides the major local government services for Shropshire, including education, highways maintenance and refuse collection. It is also the Planning Authority although the Parish Council are consultees on all planning applications in the Parish.
