Founder (Nina Trott)

Nina Trott (1950 - 2017), Ramshackle's wonderful founder, very sadly passed away in January 2017. The following month, her Ramshackle Orchestra played at the Thanksgiving event to celebrate her life and music, held in the Guildhall in Bath. The performance was led by Ramshackle player Tom Nankivell, one of Nina’s very gifted pupils.

"People wanted to dance, and many did.
It was altogether a glorious performance
and brought the evening's tributes to a fitting close.

That joy was what Nina wanted the music to be about.
What better thanksgiving could there have been? She would have loved it."
