Ripley Street Allotments are situated in the village of Lightcliffe and close to the near by village of Bailiff Bridge and towns of Brighouse and Halifax.

We are a small allotment site of 13 plots, some of which are sub-divided in to two for individuals wanting a smaller growing area. 

As a site we are self managed and we come under the control of Calderdale Council. 

As we are a self-managed allotment site the waiting list is managed directly by us and not the council.  Any direct enquiries to the council will refer you to us if you are asking for an Allotment in the Lightcliffe area.

We are a friendly bunch of people and share a passion for allotment gardening which includes growing vegetables, fruits and flowers.

We pride ourselves on having a well looked after site and in summer the paths round the Allotments are well tended and cut giving the site a really nice look.
