KELHAM CHURCH OPEN WEEKEND - Saturday, 18 April10:00am – 4:00pm

St Wilfrid's Church, Kelham, Newark NG23 5RB,

Just a reminder that Kelham Church will be open on 18th April between 10am and 4pm and on 19th April from 12 noon to 4pm. We are planning a number of events and full details will be circulated with the next edition of The Plough. These will include a talk about our small but fascinating villages giving ‘snapshots’ of 1000 years of history. The bell ringers will also be performing for us. Tea and coffee will be available on both days and we are holding a raffle. Other events are in the pipeline but more on those, next month.
In parallel with the Open Weekend, we are acting as a collection point for the charity Tools With A Misson. If you have tools of any sort that you no longer need you can bring them along to Kelham Church and the charity will collect them from there. The charity collects a huge range tools and equipment to refurbish and redistribute, including gardening tools, DIY tools, old sewing machines and old laptops. Again a full list of what can be donated will be distributed next month.
Put the date in your diary and start sorting your shed!
