Rodington elects a new Chairman

Rodington Parish Council has elected a new Chairman to serve the municipial year 2021/22.

At the AGM of the Council, held virtually due to Coronavirus restrictions on the 5th May 2021, members of the Council elected Councillor Martin Holyoake as Chairman, taking the reins from Councillor David Johnson who has served the Council as Chairman for 10 years and served as a Councillor for approximatley 20 years.

On his election as Chairman, Cllr Holyoake said "I take great honour in being elected as the new Chairman of the Parish Council and I will do my upmost to ensure this Council continues to provide a quality service to our community as has been done under the leadership of David all these years, I only hope that I can do just as good of a job as David has set the bar so high".

Cllr Anne Fletcher was also duly elected to service as Vice Chair of the Parish Council for the municipial year 2021/22 and this shall be her second term in the post.
