Minibus Usage Details

Vehicle use:

.Rolvenden Parish Rocket Minibus, The Scheme and  Vehicle Details. 

The Minibus is controlled by a Section 19 DVLA Licence which carries certain regulatory conditions which must be adhered to,Most  importantly of which, is that the pilot scheme we are running has to be run on a not for profit basis. Charges applied by The Host for Hire can only be for costs relating to Leasing the vehicle and running the scheme. Drivers and helpers RECEIVE NO PAYMENT AND ARE ALL VOLUNTEERS

Vehicle: A brand new Mercedes Sprinter Automatic

 16 seat minibus .

Length approx 7.2 m (25ft) Height 2.8m (9ft 2ins)   

Capacity: 14 Passengers plus Driver. and Assistant

Access and Safety.Up to 5 seats can be removed to enable us to carry up to 5  wheelchairs and occupants securely. (This service is awaiting training) EACH SECURED WHEELCHAIR REDUCES THE SEATING CAPACITY BY 2 SEATS

Room in rear for storage and carriage of walking aids shopping etc:

Remote Controlled Tail Lift for disabled access and Mobility Scooter carriage.Automatic side door with secure drop down access steps.

Fully equipped with full seat belts for all passengers.(Usage subject to Minibus current seat belt laws) Front,side and rear parking sensors for maximum safety, Reversing Camera.

Regular 8 weekly Safety Checks carried out on site by Enterprise authorised agents

Onboard Facilities:  Fully climate controlled air conditioning and heating system.Comfortable seating with headrests..Interior lights. Radio,Bluetooth intercom
