Congratulations to Saffron Walden Town Bowls Club junior member Alix Rouse who has been selected for the Bowls England Youth Academy 2019. Following the selection event on Sunday, Alix has been invited to attend the Academy on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May, 2019. During the weekend, the players will participate in theoretical and practical sessions, all of which are designed to support them on their pathway towards future international recognition. This is a tremendous achievement and everyone at the club is delighted at Alix's well-deserved success.

You can get to Abbey Lane either at the traffic lights on the high street or from going down Gibson Way and turning left at the end. You enter a single lane part of the road and once you have passed the King Edward Almshouses on your right you will see a car park, also on your right, and then the clubhouse.
