Essex consolidated their position as Eastern Counties League leaders in windy conditions at Saffron Walden Town Bowling Club on Saturday 10th August. Four bowlers from Saffron Walden represented Essex as they won in convincing fashion by 18-4. Thank you to all the Saffron Walden members who worked hard in preparing the green, providing food and drink, and generally making the day run smoothly and successfully.

You can get to Abbey Lane either at the traffic lights on the high street or from going down Gibson Way and turning left at the end. You enter a single lane part of the road and once you have passed the King Edward Almshouses on your right you will see a car park, also on your right, and then the clubhouse.
