A mixed finale to the season for Saffron Walden in the North West Essex Leagues. Saffron Walden B team were crowned as Division B champions and are looking forward to the challenge of sustaining a place in Division A next year. The A team lost out to Radwinter who were worthy winners of the title but the setback against Quendon was the turning point in the season for Saffron Walden. In Division C, Saffron Walden C had a much improved season winning twice as many games and scoring twenty more points than last year but still finished in fifth position, they will be pushing hard for promotion in 2019.

You can get to Abbey Lane either at the traffic lights on the high street or from going down Gibson Way and turning left at the end. You enter a single lane part of the road and once you have passed the King Edward Almshouses on your right you will see a car park, also on your right, and then the clubhouse.
