So another month passes and still no decision. After expecting the Council to discuss the Land Off Town Road application at the January meeting it has now been delayed another month. We believe that application will actually be discussed at the February meeting.

At this stage, we would like to thank everyone that sent a planning objection to Medway Council during the consultation phase, however that all seems a long time ago now. With the imminent prospect of the application actually being discussed at the next planning meeting there are two things we think could help to sway Medway’s decision.

The first is to write to the council again reiterating points previously made and to bring the issue back into the consciousness of the planning committee the other is for us to protest at the planning meeting. The S.A.V.E campaign is planning to have a significant presence at the Planning Meeting and we would invite you all to join us that the council offices.

Once the meeting date has been confirmed further communication will appear on this site with regards to the arrangements.
