Holiday Club

Scallywags is open in the school holidays with priority given to children at Simon De Senlis Primary School, but we do welcome children from primary school aged children in the surrounding area (see admissions policy).

Age group: For children aged 4 to 11 years.

Opening times: 8am until 5:45pm every week day during school holidays including school staff Training Days.

The Club is closed for all weekends and Bank Holidays, and the period between Christmas and New Year.

Location: Held in the Scallywags building in the school grounds

Sessions: Run from 8am - 5:45pm.

Fees: £23.00 for a full day session.

Pick up time: Children can be picked up at any time within the opening times, but the full session will be charged for. A strict policy is in operation including fines for late pick up (see policy).

Snacks / Meals: We follow a Healthy Eating Policy and this reflects the snack we provide. Fruit and squash is available for the children to help themselves to. Parents / carers must provide a packed lunch if children are staying for the full day.

Activities: The sessions are based around the ethos of Playwork. The children have access to lots of materials and equipment with which to create their play. We also provide a loose plan of activity ideas which are often based around weekly themes as a focus for the sessions. We have the same outside access as we do during term time. Staff are fully trained in the most up to date guidance and these activities will conform to current child care standards.

Places available:  It is advisable to book places early as holiday places are popular, and are allocated on a first come, first served basis, (with priority given to existing school club members).  Please request a booking form.

Places cannot be booked in advance of the forms being issued.

Payment must be made once your requested sessions has been confirmed.
