Shepton Bowls has a distinguished past and a very exciting future.  The Club is being transformed to meet the demands of the 21st Century while maintaining that essential feel of a traditional Club.  It is our centenary year n 2019, and we plan to be hosting national events.  We have in place major funding bids to build new toilets and sufficient existing funds to upgrade our Clubhouse when plans finalised.  The standard of our bowls green is respected throughout the County.

The Club is registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club similar to charitable status.  We are committed to providing affordable, inclusive and accessible activities. Membership is open to all on application regardless of gender, age, disablility, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs. Membership may be limited according to available facilities on a non-discriminatory basis.  We are a grassroots club aiming to become a leading provider of disability and junior activities in the Mendip district of Somerset. Although an urban site, the Club is easily accessible with a central carpark at the heart of our facilities.

Shepton Bowls is an autonomous activity within Shepton Mallet Bowls and Tennis Club.
