Following Northumberland Association of Local Councils (NALC) and the National Association of Local Councils initative in alignment with central government that parish and town councils across England make the switch to .gov.uk domains to professionalise the sector, Shilbottle Parish Council is therefore pleased to announce that from 1st April 2026 we will be part of this transition to .gov.uk web and email services with our new compliant website and usage of .gov.uk email.

As a result of this initative, NALC have worked with HugoFox to provide a new website platform for each Council they support. The website will have a .gov address and will also result in providing a .gov email address for the Clerk as a minimum to comply with changes coming into effect on 1st April 2026.
