Volunteers

Our scheme is run entirely by a team of highly dedicated volunteers who give a morning or afternoon of their time to help run the offices. Paired with another volunteer their responsibilities include the issuing of vehicles, completing paperwork, checking people’s identification, answering the phone and taking vehicle bookings.

Many of our volunteers have been with Shopmobility for many years and have built up lasting friendships with other volunteers and customers.

Peterborough Shopmobility Volunteers are unpaid and give up their valuable time to keep the scheme up and running for all our customers.

No abuse whatsoever, either physical or psychological, bad manners, rudeness, or ill respect will be tolerated in any way from anyone for Shopmobility

The Shopmobility Scheme is run by a dedicated team of Volunteers but we would really welcome some new helpers to join us - so if you can spare a few hours a week and would like to provide a service to the community then we would love to hear from you.
