Club History

The Orginal SWP F.C. was founded in 2002, after their first season playing, the finshed 2nd bottom of Bedfordshire and District Division 5. The following season they went on to win the league.

In the 2004/2005 season they won the league cup.

2007/2008 Amsterdam Cup Winners

2008/2009 Lloret De Mar European Cup Winners

Sadly the team then left the Sir William Peel in 2009, having fought they up up to Division 1, and changed their name to Sears Morgan. (now disbanded)

After a bit of a drunken conversation on New Years Eve 2009 it was decided it would be a good idea to get the team up and running again, back in the pub where it belongs.  With Lindsey's blessing it was decided to spent 12 months working on the project, and have the team together for the start of the 2011/2012 season.

However things never really go to plan, and Will Barrowcliffe mentioned that the league were accepting new teams free for the 2010/2011 season. Paperwork was duly filled in and send off, with the club having it's inaugural meeting on the 10th May 2010.

Our first season hasn't been the most successful, with the SWP F.C. yet again ending second bottom in the 5th Division, but it has been a huge learning curve, and we like to think of it as a training season, and hopefully there are great things to come.....

Our second season was much more succesfull than out 1st, we finished 4th in the league- with only goal difference keeping us from the third spot, and have been promoted to Division 4

Our third season has saw us finishing as runners up in Division 4, so we start 2013/2014 season in Division 3.
