Smarden Parish Council

Pre-school

Smarden Pre-School is a committee-run provision, located in the heart of the village, which has been serving families from the local community and from neighbouring villages for over 25 years. This well-equipped and secure setting is situated in its own building with independent outdoor play area, adjacent to the village primary school. At this small and friendly Pre-School, children are provided with the opportunity to learn and develop in a fun-filled environment, guiding them seamlessly through the transition from toddler to school-ready child. With a vast range of toys and equipment, the setting provides a wealth of developmental and learning opportunities. The setting features a regularly changing pretend play area, cosy corner, outdoor wooden gazebo, sensory garden, mud kitchen and a plentiful amount of toys.  The Pre-School accepts children from the age of 2, and is open Monday to Friday during term time. Offering high quality childcare, the setting also offers two free taster sessions for each new child attending. All are welcome to arrange a visit at this comfortable Ofsted rated ‘Good’ provision; we look forward to showing you how we can inspire your child’s imagination!
