smbtc - connecting with the community

The Club has a distinguished past and a very exciting future.  It is being transformed to meet the demands of the 21st Century while maintaining that essential feel of a traditional Club.  We have in place major funding bids to build new toilets and matched funds available to upgrade our Clubhouse catering facilities.  The standard of our bowls green is respected throughout the County and we have confirmation we will be hosting a national event in 2019.

The Club is registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club similar to charitable status.  We are committed to providing affordable, inclusive and accessible activities.  Membership is open to all on application regardless of gender, age, disablility, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or other beliefs Membership may be limited according to available facilities on a non-discriminatory basis.  We are a grassroots club aiming to become a leading provider of disability and junior activities in the Mendip district of Somerset.  Although an urban site the Club is easily accessible with a central carpark at the heart of our facilities.

See separate tabs for further information about bowls, allotments, tennis, the roller disco and our latest venture skittles.
