Winter Programme

Until Covid struck we always opened the clubhouse during the close season at 2pm every Saturday. Members could come down to the clubhouse for a chat and a cup of tea or coffee (and cake), do a jigsaw, play a game of dominoes, Rummikubs, Bananagrams etc. We intend to restart these on the 16th October and all we ask is that you drop £2 into the box towards the cost of the heating and drink. About once a month we try and organise a special event.

On Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th October we are hosting a Craft Fair in the clubhouse. The fair will be open from 10am until 4pm and there will be five stalls selling handmade craft items such as silk scarves, cards, clocks, woodcraft, jewellery and ceramics. There will also be a book stall and refreshments will be available.

Saturday November 6th we will host a Quiz. This will not be your normal pub quiz. Expect rounds based on Pointless, Countdown and Question of Sport. Expect to mime answers and solve puzzles. Expect the unexpected. We also take a break in the middle for tea and coffee and cake.

Saturday 11th December we are having a Darts and Dominoes session followed by rice and chilli. There might even be a Christmas theme to proceedings but more details later.
