Councillor Kim Rajah

Kim Rajah was co-opted to Speldhurst Parish Council in March 2020. He is Chairman of the Planning Committee, a member of the Finance and Highways Committees and a member of the Pavilion Management Working Group.

Kim’s early career was spent as an Economist, working in overseas development in multiple countries before switching to IT. He spent the next 25 years working for a number of UK and US companies. Kim first moved to the local area with his family in 1991, living in Tunbridge Wells before moving to Speldhurst in 2000.

As a Parish Councillor Kim feels it is important for him to contribute to the local community, helping it to thrive and maintain its wonderful character.
