As part of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean, Speldhurst Parish Council have pledged fifteen hours of litter picking in Ashurst, Langton Green, Old Groombridge and Speldhurst. This equates to forty-five miles of a national million-mile mission, and Parish Councillors, Staff and their families will be litter picking across the parish.

Here in Speldhurst Parish we are fortunate to have residents carrying out litter picks on a regular basis. If you would like to join in, the Great Bristish Spring Clean is an excellent way to get started. Visit the website, sign up and pledge an hour or two of your time. Then simply take a bin liner with you when you next go out for a walk; it's an easy and Covid-safe way to support the campaign, and you have until 13th June to complete your pledge.
