Reminder - Open Meeting Monday 14th October

A reminder that the Autumn Open Meeting on Monday 14th October is your opportunity to find out more about the Draft Local Plan for Speldhurst Parish. Stephen Baughen, Head of Planning at TWBC, will take us through the proposals, answer questions and explain how you can comment on the plan before the 1st November public consultation deadline. The meeting will be held at Speldhurst Village Hall at 8pm, with drinks served from 7.30.

In the meantime, a map of the proposed site for development and further information about the plans, can be viewed at Speldhurst Community Shop until midday on Saturday 12th October. It will then be displayed from mid afternoon in the church porch at St Mary's until Monday morning. Please do take this chance to familiarise yourself with the plan so that you can have your say on an important issue for the future of Speldhurst Parish.
