If you would like to ask questions or voice concerns about the TWBC Draft Local Plan for Speldhurst Parish, please come to the Speldhurst Parish Council open meeting on Monday 14th October at Speldhurst Village Hall. The meeting starts at 8pm (with refreshments from 7.30) and we will have a Planning Officer from Tunbridge Wells Borough Council in attendance to take you through the proposals for a new development in Speldhurst and explain how you can give formal feedback before the public consultation deadline on 1st November.

In the meantime, please do familiarise yourself with the Draft Local Plan, which is obviously an important issue for local residents. The most relevant section of the public consultation document for Speldhurst Parish begins on page 355, and you will find an eight-page pullout in your copy of Local Magazine too. As of today, there is also a map of the proposed development in the entrance foyer to the village hall. If people have difficulty accessing this, we may move it to the village shop and will keep you posted if this happens.

We hope as many of of you as possible take the opportunity to join us on 14th October and ensure that you have your say on the future of your parish.
