THE ST IPPOLYTS BOWLER

Welcome to the first edition of our club newsletter, hopefully through this newsletter we can keep members up to date on forthcoming matches, results and social events etc.

CHAMPIONS

A big well done to everyone who has played in the SML Knockout Competition which we won on Monday 13th August when we beat Datchworth by 89 shots to 59, winning 3 of the 4 rinks.

SML

Following a resounding 104 shots to 52 win at home to Aston on14th we are currently second, 5 points behind Howard Gardens with a game in hand.

AWAYDAY

A big thank you to Muriel for organising our day out in Swaffham.

The day started by meeting up at the Fiveways cafe where a bacon or sausage sarnie and the odd G&T went down well! After receiving a warm welcome from the hosts a good game (won by St Ippolyts) was had by all followed by an enormous buffet.
