Easter worship from St Johns

Good Friday

On Good Friday we have placed a silent meditation before the cross on the video streams. We would normally do this at 2pm, but please chose a time to suit yourself. The video originally had music but we had to remove that due to copyright restrictions. Perhaps you can find some suitable music to play quietly. Just go to the video stream and you will find it there. The video last around 4 minutes. If you feel you want to spend longer with each image, we suggest you pause it. We have also included the Passion Reading and some prayers for you to use as well.

Holy Saturday

Please see the table below for some prayers which you might like to use on Holy Saturday.

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday Service from St Johns will be available on the video streams. The Order of Service and Readings can be found in the table below. Just click on the video channel link on Sunday and it will be there.

Keeping in touch

It is important that although we cannot gather, we keep our sense of community. In these changed times we are seeking new ways to keep in touch with our christian community. The website has been redesigned to focus on private worship and prayer, resources for people at home and serving the community in new ways. We will be sending out regular communications to all those who agree by email. These emails will provide links to the website where appropriate. We are also using facebook and twitter to communicate. Please contact the ChurchOffice if you wish to be added to our email distribution or if you need help or advice.

Resources for Worship and Prayer at home are available on this website.
