The new terrain at Stockton Football & Cricket Club was completed on 1st September, so we decided to run our September Melee at the facility to try it out.

We had great support from 22 players who played in torrential rain and found the new terrain very challenging.

After three rounds there were four unbeaten players, top prize going to Ian Brittain with a +27 points difference, just one point ahead of David Kimpton on +26. Rich Powell was third with +23 and Geoff Jerrom-Pugh was fourth with +15.

Our new facility was well and truly launched with lots of wind and rain, and we still have lots of work to do to make it a comfortable, well equipped venue.
