A big shout out to our Parish Councillor Shane Back, who is also the registered Flood Warden for the Peninsula.
Over the past forty-eight (48) hours he has worked tirelessly in conjunction with Medway Council and local businessmen Dean Pappin & Kcee Mortley to ensure the relevant signage has been put in place, not only in our Parish but the surrounding area, in response to the exceptional wet weather.
He has also greatly helped the situation with drainage throughout the village, ensuring blocked areas were urgently reported to the relevant authorities allowing them to be cleared in record time, and assisted in laying sandbags to help redirect water away from residents properties.
THANK YOU Shane.
