Laptops for Learning
Stoke St Milborough Parish Council
Our “Laptops for Learning” scheme has provided around 350 laptops to schools, helping children who have fallen through the gap of the government’s scheme.
Over 1,000 children are set to benefit over the lifetime of this project.
With your help, we can provide even more laptops for children who need them.
If you have any old laptop(s) that you wish to donate or if you could contribute with a financial donation to help us buy new laptops - please read below.
How to donate your old laptop
If you wish to donate:
The laptop(s) should be in good condition, with no damage to keys or casing and with a power supply.
Please delete any personal data (e.g. documents, photos) from the laptop(s) donated.
Now all you have to do is...
Complete an online form
Pick a convenient slot for collection
Place the laptop(s) inside a plastic bag - with a label stating 'For collection by TWC’
Place the bag on your doorstep (from 8.30am, for AM pickup slot or from 12.30pm, for PM pickup slot)
We will collect the laptops donated from any address in the borough and we will trade them in to buy new laptops for children.
