Demolition of existing dwelling and garage and erection of 2 No. 4 bed semi detached dwellings, 1 x 4 bed detached dwelling, 1 x 1 bed flat and 1 x 2 bed flat with associated parking, refuse store and landscaping

This council has concerns about the following:
1. Overdevelopment of the site which would result from this proposal. The area of hard standing will increase significantly increasing the flood risk especially for the properties below the site.
2. The impacting on neighbouring properties through overlooking is significant.
3. The proposed site entrance has implications on the current utility routes, creates concerns over sightlines and will reduce on road parking for existing residents, something which is already at a premium. The number of vehicles accessing the site is also of concern so near to an existing junction (Longmarsh View).
We would also ask that should the application be permitted, a condition be imposed that work does not commence before works to the site at 119 Main Road are complete. An alternative condition would be management of the combined sites.
