MINUTES – PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON 21st MARCH 2019

2.DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
The Clerk granted dispensation to members for discussion on the budget.
3.MANAGEMENT
a)Accounts. It was proposed by Cllr Bradley,
seconded by Cllr. Arnold and agreed to approve matters related to finance as follows:

b)Minutes. It was proposed by Cllr. Arnold seconded by Cllr. Harbud and agreed by all to approve as a correct record minutes of the meeting held on Feb 21st2019
c)Matters arising from Minutes. Leak (repaired) reported at Chapelfields allotments
d)Questions from Public & Press Dynamos rep reported an issue with pitch marking-clerk to refer to contractor.
e)Items discussed
Asset Rationalisation Members discussed the bids received for the office premises and unanimously (show of hands) agreed to proceed with Bid B. Members also discussed how the council would work day to day in the future regarding public contact/storage/meeting space etc.
Parish Members’ AllowancesMembers considered and discussed the recommendations from DBC via the Independent Remuneration Panel and agreed that it was not in the best interest of this council to pay allowances.
Election May 2nd2019 Members discussed the future of the council.
Sports Pavilion & Rec Grounds. Alarm set off reported due to power cuts/stormy weather
Jubilee Field No issues
Hawley Pavilion Members agreed the extension plans submitted by the Hawley Pavilion Trust. All were in favour of the works and advised that the plans should be submitted including the external W.C.
Burial Ground Clerk reported a tree fallen in the high winds which will be cleared.

Council has concerns that this proposal will impinge on existing off street parking facilities and we highlight the necessity for the proposal to comply with planning regs regarding provision of parking.
Application for Listed Building Consent internal alterations to allow the annex to be used as a separate dwelling (named Sutton House Cottage) with allocated parking and private courtyard
