Tavistock Farmers' Market
Tavistock Farmers' Market is a treasure trove of fresh, tasty and attractive local produce. As well as being voted the 'Best Farmer's Market in the South West', Tavistock Farmers' Market was a finalist for Britain's Favourite Farmers' Market. Tavistock Farmers Market is held in Bedford Square, at the heart of the bustling historic market town. The markets take place on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Saturdays of each month, from 9.00am to 2.00pm in summer, 1.00pm in winter - see our Market Calendar for details.
Everything you will find on sale here is produced within the local area, and our stallholders are the farmers, growers or producers themselves. All products sold have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed by the stallholders.
At Tavistock Farmers' Market, you will find a wide range of fine, fresh produce including a fabulous selection of bread, cakes, pies and pasties, goats cheese, organic eggs, milk and cream, fresh, succulent crab and lobster, traditional handmade pates, organic and home grown meat and poultry, flowers and vegetables, local honey, jams and preserves, cordials, confectionery, beans, grains, pulses and gluten free treats as well as tasty takeaway meals.
