Welcome to the Lichfield Society of Artists.  In 2024, we celebrated 80 years of bringing artists together.  We meet, develop our skills together and exhibit our artwork at very low cost.  Our members are sketchers, painters (in all media) sculptors, potters, workers in glass, digital art, metal, fabrics and dyes... if it's artistic endeavour, we'll encourage it.  Read our Newsflashes to find out more about us.

There's always something happening. Contact us at lichfieldsocartists@gmail.com

Members will pay a fee of £25 to belong to the society for the year March 2024-March 2025

For further information about joining click on the membership tab at the top of the page.

We update members via our email "newsflash", shown on this site, and via Facebook - take a look.

Visitors are welcome and are asked to pay a fee of £3 to attend the main monthly meetings. After 2 visits to these meetings you will be asked to join in order to comply with the T's & C's of our public liability insurance. Small group meetings such as the Flower Painting Group & Painting group charge a small fee for participation which helps offset the cost of venue hire.

Artists from the Society have been exhibiting work during the past 18 months both hung exhibitions and on-line, many of the latter in partnership with Erasmus Darwin House Museum. Above are a few images from these shows. If you require further information about the work shown please contact the society by emailing lichfieldsocartists@gmail.com
