Entry Gate Project

July 2019:

The RWB Shed were approached recently by nearby residents who were experiencing some concerns about the over exuberance of local teenagers who were frequenting the rear access passage way to their properties.

The request was for The RWB Shed to build and install a lockable gate. Albi went to view the location, took the relevant measurements and agreed the design parameters.

The gate design was required to be quite robust, so heavy duty gate furniture was procured. Albi and Ray sourced the timber and built the gate and a couple of weeks later the gate was fitted. The pictures show the gate fully installed and operational.

The gate, furniture & consumables were purchased by the residents and the timber and labour provided by the Shed members.

The residents have expressed their gratitude for the job done and also their appreciation for the ability of keeping their younger family members safe from road traffic.
